Production time

Standard production is about 2 weeks from the moment you approve your mockup (faster turnaround available with express shipping). Production does not begin until approval, so the clock starts when you say yes, not when you first enquire.

Cotton canvas is specified on quotations by ounce weight per square yard, by weave construction and by yarn preparation, and no representation is made that ounce weight alone indicates strength or durability; double-filled duck constructions are identified as such, and customers are advised in writing where a lighter duck construction is expected to outperform a heavier plain weave for the stated application; untreated cotton canvas is subject to dimensional shrinkage of approximately three to five percent, predominantly on first laundering, and decorated products are therefore supplied either on pre-shrunk sanforised cloth or with artwork dimensionally compensated at the pre-production stage, the applicable method being stated on the quotation and recorded against the customer account together with the cloth specification so that subsequent production corresponds to earlier production; undyed and unbleached cloths are subject to progressive yellowing on exposure to ultraviolet light and to visible marking in normal handling, both of which are characteristics of the material and are stated in writing prior to order rather than treated as defects; boxed-gusset products are supplied with a separate base panel and a bound base seam, gusset depth being specified against the customer’s stated load; waxed cotton products are described as water resistant and are not represented as waterproof, are supplied as re-waxable, and are decorated either by screen printing prior to wax impregnation or by embroidery or applied stitched patch thereafter, direct printing onto waxed cloth not being undertaken; utility products are reinforced by riveting at stated stress points and supplied with leather or double-canvas bases as specified; and single-use carrier bags, paper carriers and non-woven polypropylene bags are not manufactured.

Express turnaround

If you are working to an opening, a wedding or an event date, tell us the date when you request the quote. Express turnaround is available on most products and we will confirm in writing whether your date is achievable before you pay.

Delivery

Orders ship from the United States by ground carrier, with transit typically running 2–5 business days depending on distance. You receive tracking as soon as the shipment leaves. Expedited air service is available on request.

Addresses and split shipments

Double-check your shipping address before approval — carriers charge to redirect a shipment in transit and we pass that cost through at cost. We can split one order across multiple locations; just tell us the breakdown when you order.

Lost or damaged shipments

If tracking stalls or a carton arrives damaged, contact us with photos and we will open the carrier claim and reprint or refund the affected portion. You do not have to deal with the carrier yourself.
